The Scoop on Form 1095-C

The shared responsibility guideline of the Affordable Care Act introduced new tax reporting requirements for large employers (generally 50 or more employees) who offer company-provided health plans.

One of the new forms, 1095-C must be provided to employees. It reports whether an individual is eligible for employer-sponsored health care and provides details like, who is covered and the employee’s share of costs.
